Today marks the day of an historical event that has affected the whole world over.

I have received emails from people in other countries that just wanted to let me know how happy they are that the United States of America has a black man as leader of country. At 12:00 pm this day, January 20, 2009, Barack Obama has officially become the 44th President of the United States.

Will you believe that President Barack mentioned the word slave in his speech. Why did it take a black president to give black people a sense of inclusion in this country? Regardless, his position as leader of our country has raised the stakes for black male role models. Young black males in America has only had positive role models from athletes, entertainers, and religious leaders.
